The tech-a-matic hitch system hasn't changed since 1973 I think. I used to collect dealer new model brochures. The 1986 book shows you how to install the mower in 65 seconds. To remove, on the front.pulley box turn knob clockwise to loosen belt pull pin out of pto pulley and swing half moon arm out, remove belt, push pin on left side pulley box, flip lever and it's on the ground. start out with the mower in up position, push the button and flip lever on left frame brkt. lower the deck and slide it out. I won a 12 pack bet off a buddy of mine one time installing his deck in less than 65 seconds.
