The new Troy built's are not any thing like the old ones. The new ones are no longer owned or made like they where in the 70s. If I where you I would keep my eyes out for one of the older troy's even if it needs an engine. I have one that my dad got new in 1972 and is on its 2nd engine and 3rd or 4th transmission but my dad did till up a couple acres a year with it for well over 2 decades
