Just before Christmas, I bought a '71 1886-01 with a pretty crude homemade FEL on it for 800.00. That was a VERY good deal.
After I got it home I found a tiller for it which cost me $250.00 which again was a pretty good deal.
I'd say that if it's running and in decent mechanical shape, an 1886 with deck and tiller would easily be worth $800.00-900.00.
The 1886 was made from '71-73. The 1883-01 was produced in '71 and the -02, -03 and -04 in '72. Also in '72 the 1886S-05 was produced but was called the HT-18. Then in '73 the 1886S-06 was produced.
Ya gotta remember...the 1886/HT-18 can do just about anything that today's $14K SCUTs can.
