I've always just gapped the points and run 'em. Yesterday I removed the point cover and was checking things out and it appeared to me there's just not a lot of timing variation possible. Those who argued that it was critical to time using point gap couldn't provide an answer when asked about how much timing is actually available.
How much can you actually vary the timing using point gap?
How many of you actually mess with timing or do you just set the gap at .020" and run?
