Thanks for the comments. Yes, I had checked with CNH website and found that the same coupling flange on the injection pump was used from 1952 thru 1964, and that replacements are no longer available. The keyway change was made on the auxilary drive shaft [drives the pump], not the pump shaft. The diesel repair shop that is doing the service on the pump and injectors is returning the old flange as well as the aftermarket one so that I can decide what to do. The only problem with the old flange is that the pegs [ears] are worn. My best option may be to build up with weld and cut/dress to the original profile. The drive flange on the auxilary shaft is an easier fix because it is in two parts. I can swap the disc that has the new pegs for the worn disc and re-use the old hub that has the correct keyway.
