I cleaned my transmission gear housing the other day and went to put it together today when I noticed a crack between the bearing holes on the backside of the housing. See pictures.
Is this a problem? Can I ignore it or should I try to locate a new housing? The tractor does have a loader and backhoe that I plan using on a regular basis and I want to make the trans isn't going to blow apart on me. Anybody know what caused this?
