Today was only the second time I started my 535 LTB (successor and nearly identical to 4500) and noticed a new leak coming from the driver's side frame hydraulic plug. I'm pretty sure it wasn't leaking last year, but there is a decent size oil puddle where it was parked, in the area of the plug. I tried tightening it as much as I dared, but it's still leaking.
I'd like to know what I'm going to do before removing the plug, because I know from past experience that I'm going to get a high volume of oil shooting 5 feet away and it's going to make a mess, and I'll lose way more oil from removing the plug that I will from the leak. So, does anyone know what the problem is likely to be or how to fix it? I believe that the plug is part #191858, 81903566, or 273916, a 1-5/16/12 hex plug. I'll probably just try replacing it if there aren't any other ideas here. Thanks very much.

It was on his farm that I learned to use the combination hand clutch and brake on a John D
