I posted early about this tractor and got some good advise, however after trying them all I still have a problem, The engine is missing causing the backfire I think. Check compression #1-120, #2- 110 #3-110 #4-120 so I check the spark and this is what I found a good blue spark to each plug, jump about one half inch. Now when I pull #1 or #4 wire it will stop the engine running But if I pull #2 or #3 plug wire nothing happen has no affect on the engine. Spark plug are almost new so I swap them around to make sure it wasn't bad plugs and I still have same problem.
