Well #1 it helps us help you if you post more info things like what the tractor is etc. #2 the area your asking about is on the opposite end of the engine then where the flywheel is your talking about the crank shaft pulley drive mount for a front pump. That said most have a spline shaft so you take the pump mount bolts of and then you should be able to pull the pump back and out. You may need to unhook the hyd hoses to do so
