B042883 is a very low serial number, and the B at the beginning means that it was assembled at the Basildon, UK assembly plant. Being that low I would have guessed at 1965, but the production code starts with a 6, so it should be a 1966 tractor.
6E25C is May 25, 1966 as soundguy said, but they appear to have done things differently at the European assemble plants, especially on the early ones, so that may be the production code for the transmission, and the F26 might be the date the tractor was assembled, which would be June 26 of the same year.
As soundguy also said, none of those numbers you posted is the model number. If you're looking at those numbers stamped into that flat spot, without moving your head, move your eyes up just a little and look "above" them, into the rougher part of the casting, and you may find the model number stamped there. If it's not there, then it may be on the similar flat spot on the left side of the tractor, but it might be hard to see because the hydraulic pump may be in the way. The model number should be 6 characters long, and should start with a 3 if is a 1966 3000. If it is an ag chassis 3000, it should start with 3101 if it is a diesel engine and 3102 if it is a gas engine. The last 2 characters will tell you what transmission and PTO options it had.

He was a farmer by birth and a farmer by choice, and like many returning soldiers, he was our silent hero: without medals or decorations, but with a certain ability to survive. It was on his farm that I learned to use the combination hand clutch and brake on a John D
