Additionally, not all the wedges were identical. There were three alike and then a fourth one that was unique. It theoretically could be clamped anywhere in the adjusting track to stop the adjustment at any given spot.
The original bolts in these wheels were not just carriage bolts. They were fine threaded and had an elongated shoulder that was swedged into the wheel so that it stayed in place when the nut was removed. They also had a heavier head than a common carriage bolt.
