Errin, Lots of experience!! LOL! 1979 to 2001. I ran a 65 gal verticle tank sprayer on the 3 pt of my 1964 4000. It had a 28 foot boom (17 nozzle @ 20" spacing) that was lightly built. I got it at TSC, was a light green color. I added the weights inside the front wheels shortly after I started using the sprayer. I think they weigh about 300lbs? 4 pieces at 75 each. When the tank was full the front end got very very light. Never had a problem with the 3 point lifting the weight. Just keeping the front wheels on the ground. If I filled to more than 65 gal, I could lift the front end with my hand / had to back up hills. I live in Columbiana County, East central Ohio. It is a little hilly. I would plan my route so I did the flat places with the full load and the hills at the end of the tank. I use a medium/heavy weight 3 pt 6 foot brush hog (Cadet 72) on that same tractor and it makes the front end light too. The sprayer worked great on that tractor. The 13.6 x 28 tires do not mash down a lot of crop and the 4000 is very nimble. Just do not think you can put 100 gal back there and go. I would bet no matter how much weight you add up front, when you let out the clutch to go forward, the front end would move up vs forward. Let me tell you that is NOT a good feeling with a tank full of chemicals!!! HTH Keith
