Ah but did it do the same thing with the old points??? Did you guys buy a set of cheap points made in the land of almost never right or a good set of points??? Not likely to be to cam but could well be that the bushing is going bad so as to not run straight and cause that one area to be off. Bet if you measure each and every cam you will find they are all the same. That area of the distributor almost never wears out since all that should ever run on it is plastic
