My generator is 1800 rpm and is direct drive off the engines flywheel by a adapter designed by me and welded and balanced by my local machine shop. The engine has a factory govenor to keep the engine at a set speed as the load varies. My only concern was it sounded like it was screaming at 1800rpm but if it is rated at 2100 like the other poster said then I guess there is no problem. I have a oil pressure, coolent temp, and alt, gauges for the engine and a HZ and voltage gauge for the generator. I am looking to add a low oil pressure and over temp cut offs as well
