Sounds like they are out of line, or the worm gear is worn out in the gear box. Jack the front up so both tires are clear of ground. Have some one stabilize one side then turn. Steering wheel side to side. Look for excess play in ball joints and all linkage. If the play is in the gear box itself, you will need the manual for that model tractor for repair. Lower tractor back down and check for correct toe-in. Usually that is about one half inch+or-. Measuring from center of tire tread parallel to the ground at center wheel hub height. Note. It always helps to know the tractor details. 4cyl or 3cyl and if it has power steering.
