The 600/601 uses one ratio and the 800/801 uses a differant ratio.
Even though the ratio is the same in the newer XX1 tractors and the older XX0 tractors the parts are not the same. There is a break (I think it is in early XX1 production but would have to look it up to be sure) where the pinion gear changes.
