Cerematellic discs also known as 'button clutches' in general last much longer than typical organic discs under heavy use or abuse. But organic discs wear out while creating minimal damage to the mating flywheel and pressure plate. Ceremetallic discs can remove metal from the pressure plate (and more importantly the flywheel) at nearly the same rate as the clutch itself wears. It is not impossible for an OEM button clutch to wear out and completely trash the flywheel by the time the original disc is used up. This type of clutch disc is not my first choice.
