Hi, New to this forum...
I am in the process of bringing an NAA back to life (posted on a different forum). The latest piece of the puzzle it the carb. The current situation is this. I bolt it on the tractor and turn on the fuel. I can see the fuel flow into the carb (through the clear filter) and then it stops, indicating that the float and valve are working.
Next after I crank it a bit fuel starts flowing out of the throat of the carb. Needless to say is hasn't run in this condition.
Upon opening it up it appears that it is missing a couple important pieces. The Idle Jet is there in the top half of the carb, but the economizer jet is missing. Also missing is the Main jet that I gather should be in the bottom of the bore under the Main Discharge Nozzle. The discharge nozzle was also bent, but is now broken due to my attempt to straighten it.
I have called several tractor parts vendors and the Jets appear not to be an item that anyone sells. Apparently they are not in the "complete" rebuild kits, although the discharge nozzle is. The choke plate is in backwards too.
Can someone please confirm for me that there should be these 3 jets as described? Perhaps a diagram is available?
Does anyone have any of these parts available and be willing to sell me? Or another carb they'd be willing to part with.

Today's Featured Article - Madison's County - by Anthony West. Philip Madison has been a good friend of mine for quite some time. He has patiently suffered my incessant chit chat on the subject of tractors for longer than I care to remember, and on many occasions he has put himself out, dropped what ever it was he was doing, to come and lend a hand cranking handles, or loading a find onto a trailer. Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
