I rebuilt one of the cylinders last week. I bought the baler 3 weeks ago and 1 cylinder was leaking out of the end. Turns out the previous owner had put a seal in backwards. I don't know what seals they replaced or if they worked only one or both cylinders.
Since I ordered 2 complete seal kits I will rework the other one. I saved this one for later since it was not leaking. May have been wrong if it is leaking past the piston.
I wondered about the remote valve because I have seen new cylinders on a grain drill leak down connected to it but like I said it has not been used in 10 years now.
