Hey Guys,
So Im a John Deere Nut but I also have a little bit of a taste for the fords as well. We use both JD's and ford's on the farm. I caught wind of a possible ford 2000 offset near me a few years back and I was finally able to go look at, hoping it would be a offset becuase I know their rarity plus I could use it my vegetable crops. Well unfortunatly the tractor turned out to be a 1964 Ford 2000 Gas Rowcrop with the drop rear axles, wide front, power steering and power adjust wheels. It also has near mint sheetmetal. The original owner seems to think it has 1800 original hours and I believe he could be right.
My question is are these 2000RC tractors a good one to own and are they worth anything near a 2000 offset?? Im assuming the offset are worth more but extra info is always a help. Are these a rare tractor? Or are they common?
Any help and info would be appreciated! Thanks!! Jeff N. Rottkamp

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
