I drive by a nice little ferguson plow sitting in the weeds on a regular basis and finally decided to stop and ask if it was available. I knock on the door and I can hear a lot of commotion and movement in the house, and after I start for my car, a big burly looking guy steps out. He looked at me menacingly and asks what he can help me with. I point toward the plow and asked if it might be available. He asked me who I was with. I stated no one and that I collect old Ford stuff. He says just a second and goes back inside. Out comes a very nice lady and she shows me the plow and explains what was going on. Apparently she is going through a bad divorce and she is keeping the property, but her ex has been causing some problems for her. Near as I can tell, he is having his friends heckle her a bit and it appears they thought I had bad intentions. She gets control of the property this Sunday and stated that she would call me once it is all legal. I am just happy I did not get shot.
