I am learning a lot from this thread. I have been loosening the springs on the slip clutch on my Woods rotary mower once a year to make sure that it still slips, and I have been returning them to their original setting just by the number of turns on the nut. I didn't know that the length was the key thing to watch for.
I just have a couple of questions. Are all springs on all slip clutches created equal? I mean is your chart a universal chart that's applicable to all slip clutches or is your chart for a specific brand or model? If it is a universal chart, do you think that you could scan it and post it?
