Howdy Mattm, Looking in the '05 Blue Book, here is what is shows: 2450 Average Used Trade In 3370 Average High Trade In 5900 Average Used Retail 6730 Average High Retail Keep in mind, those figures are for a tractor only. The loader alone has a value, but how much I really don't know. I would guess being used no more than a grand. The new paint has a value too, but not to me. I would rather buy something without and Earl Sheib overhaul so I know what I'm getting. That being said, I personally would pass at that price. You might make an offer though that would satisfy both seller and buyer. Also, you might see if you can find anyone in Texas near where the tractor is and ask if they would look at it for you and give an honest opinion as to it's condition. I'm in Texas, and if it was near me I would gladly look it over for you. rgv tx 71 3000 dsl
