I am in the process of buying a used 800 series tractor. The guy I am buying it from swears up and down it has a live PTO. He keeps telling me that there is a lever under the seat that you can engage and disengage the PTO whenever you want. Even when the tractor is moving. He also claims it has a 4spd trans. I asked him to check the serial number and it is not visible. He said he can only make out a 6 and a 4 and that is it. He said that it can be driven and the PTO can be turned off and on when needed. I have been trying to locate a 600/800 series with a live PTO for some time now. This is the best I have found. What do you guys think? What is the lever under the seat for? Thanks Phil
