Just looked at my NAA and it also has the same number as your housings. Ford used and still does today a unique and very logical part numbering system consisting of a base part number and design iterations as well has to the orginal year and model it was released. The NAA refers to the 53/54 NAA models, the 4024 & 4025 are base part numbers and the "C" is the design iteration or design level. Many Unfinished as cast or forged parts had a different base part or design level number.
So too make a long saga short the 4024 is the as cast part number - not machined center section and the 4025 most likely refers to the finished machined assembly. The 4024 won't be listed in parts books since you can't buy it and can only buy the finished part
Where is your center section cracked? Mine had a crack that went from the bottom of one of the trumpet stud holes to nearly the center of the housing. I had a casting welder repair it. It has a slight puddle to where he repaired it and he siad not to grind it down for strength. It's on the bottom so you really can't see it anyway
