I run a 6 foot KK finish mower with a '54 NAA and mow 4 acres of bluegrass... it is all about the height of what you are trying to mow down.... if I stay on top of the cutting it works fine.... if I try to mow taller areas (i.e. septic field) the overabundance of grass under the mower will actually bog her down to where I have to clutch.... and then I'm stopped..... no live PTO makes it a little time consuming as the tractor ground speed versus pto speed don't mesh well for the taller stuff......
