I have a 3000 and have run it out of fuel several times. When I do it takes a while to get it all primed. First I make sure I have enough fuel. Second I open the bleeder on top of the fuel filter until fuel comes to that point ( gravity will get it ot the filters)it may take a while before fuel gets the filter full (some tractors have a manual pump that you can use to help get the fuel through the lines, mine has it but it doesn't seem to help very much. Third I loosed the lines comming out of the pump, since mine is a 3 cyl I loosen all 3 lines. Then I turn over the tractor until fuel starts comming out real good. Then I start tightning up the lines, usually It will start to run on 1 or 2 cyl. You will have to go back and open up the lines one at a time to get the air out, then it should start running smoothly. You may have to bleed the lines several times to get all the air out.
