Tony, you have the correct oil in it. As long as this is actually a TO-35, and does not have multi power, it is supposed to use a 90 weight mineral oil (It is not 80-90 gear oil). A universal hy-tran oil will work, but that tractor was meant to have the 90 weight mineral oil, like you are using. As for the lift, lemme scratch my head for a bit.
