the radiator on my 1957 TO-35 is still working fine, but i had to have a few holes repaired last fall.
I have a 7 psi cap, but the radiator repair tech told me to just leave the cap loose,
that the coolant system will work fine on these old tractors and you do not have to worry about pulling up to the garage and spilling out coolant through the over flow tube.
Since the system uses the old green coolant, it is dangerous to grandkids and pets, has a sweet taste, so they say, and pets will drink it.
with the cap loose, system stays cool and does not spill over when i stop. also puts less pressure on the old high dollar radiator.
have you checked the price of a replacement radiator, on mine you have to buy the radiator then tech has to unsolder, remove the lower attachment brackets and resolder them onto the new radiator.
he said i did not want to go there unless all else failed.
plus the new replacement radiators are not made as heavy or of the same quality material as the old ones.
all i know is he fixed it for $40 bucks and i am driving the tractor every day with no radiator problems.
