A version of the Sherman Hi/Lo was made specifically for the Ferguson. And the same Sherman for the Ford 8N will also work in a Ferguson if you give up the gear shift start function. However, if you want to retain the gear shift start feature of the Ferguson, you must have the Ferguson version. The only difference is the top casting which moves the shift lever and makes room for the gear shift starting components. Search for sherman here.. also John Smith at the 8N board can probably help. JIm
