Looking at 1958 TO-35, mostly original, has worked but not beaten. All the twiddly bits work, 2-stage clutch, 3-point hydraulics, PTO and such. Starts like all the write ups and U Tube adventures. Once started, runs smooth, very little diesel smoke and no indication of oil smoke. All fluids are suspect and if I go thru with purchase will be changed out with attendant filters.
Two areas of concern, I hope the pixs attach, appears to be blow by of piston rings as oil will pop as drips out of dip stick tube, seal at top of is gone. At idle no leakage, but with 1/2 throttle and above is is a regular stream, and this is with the oil level at lower mark on dip stick. Crankcase vent on exhaust side of engine has a regular slight puffing pulse, no back suck of possible stuck or leaking valve.
And second is oil or fuel ?? leak from what appears to be rear shaft of fuel pump drive fitment. Leaks around the rear retaining nut, on what I was told was the pump drive shaft.
