If I understand you are saying someone on here recommended putting grease in the steering box instead of oil. That is partially correct if you put Corn Head Grease in and not regular grease. Using regular grease will make a void where the gears run back and forth after a while the gears can't get greased because it is just a hole inside where the gears are. Corn Head Grease is more liquid and it pours out at least some of it does. Do you regularly grease the zerts on the front spindles?
