The Ferguson TO 35 was made from 1954, Ferguson Light Grey & Dark Metallic Green to sometime in May 1956 then it was Bamboo Beige and Flint Metallic Grey (with some of them painted Bamboo Beige and Dark Metallic Green) until Dec. 1957 when the last 1,874 1957 TO 35s were painted Red and Flint Metallic Grey as they wanted the factory to have all the paint lines cleaned out and the new colors ready to be used when they started running the 1958 models, after the first of the year. After the Ferguson came the Massey Ferguson 35 sometime in (I think May of 1960) until the end of MF 35 production in 1964 then came the MF 135.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
