I just recently loaded the rear tires on my TE-A20 with windshield washer fluid. It's good to -40C which is also -40F. If it gets colder than that I'll be staying in !
I've also heard some folks are using Rv antifreeze. Either one will work well. It's not quite as heavy as the calcium chloride but it's close enough. I put 30 gallons in each rear tire and at 8.2lbs/gal that's 246lbs per tire. With my duo-grip chains and the washer fluid I'm getting very good traction. Now I just have to go get my new front wheel weights and I'm in business.
