Yes the D23 is the hottest plug in that series of plug and it's non resistor which is also recommended. D18Y is what Champion recommends for most of the Z engines and it is hotter than the RD16 also it is a projected tip plug. You could also try the D21 Champion which is cooler than the D23 but still hotter than the RD16 or D18Y. It kind of depends on what you use the tractor for. If it is just used occasionally for light work then it probably would need a D21 or D23 to keep them from fouling out. But in general don't run a hotter plug than you have to.
