Is there an air intake on the dash? Is the key up high on the dash or down underneath the dash? Does it have an amp gauge or a little charge light on the right of the dash? As far as the axle seals the difference between a TO-20 and a TO-30 is the 20 axle bearing is lubed by the hydraulic oil that runs in the the transmission and rear end and it has an axle seal at the bearing only. A TO-30 had an inner axle seal in the housing as well as the outer seal at the bearing and the bearing was packed with wheel bearing grease. The procedure for changing the outer seals and bearings is the same for both tractors. The only difference is the inner seal on the 30. If your bearings are good I would just pack the bearings full of grease and install a set of sure seals. Also if you run the hydraulic oil level too high it will cause it to run out at the axle seals. Just fill it to the bottom bolt hole on the dipstick cover.
