Tony - I would love to get you down here for our Pawnee,OK show. Lots of steam stuff - Big tractors and steam powered saw mill. A big stationary steam engine and a steam powered working machine shop. You can't see it all in one day -they transport yu in from the parking lots in jitneys pulled bu tractors. A lot of case stuff - I am a Case fan have 3 1 working and 2 parts - hoping to make 2 into one good one. I'm actually very new to Fergusons, but looking forward to playing with mine. I haven,t driven it but 1 time yet -too much else to do right now. Plus I need to remount the suspension seat further back -I am jammed up with my knees in my nose LOL. Goin to put a bushhog on it and leave it there, its difficult for me to hook and unhook 3pt stuff.(except for tractor rides and our local town parade) Gonna leave it to my grand children. I don't farm (disabled Nam vet) but try to keep busy doing projects. i have some red power friends in pepperell that might help you get some ideas on a plough day etc. Hopefully will see you later this summer. Oh the chard, beets, peas are up goin to have chard for dinner next week. Gotta get the tamaters and summer squash in later this week. But gotta get the chain link fence finished first (gotta keep my deer out of the garden). I keep a feeder for their enjoyment -I can see them from my recliner - we don't allow them to be hunted.

In the last entry to this series we gave a brief overview of hydraulic system theory, its basic components and how it works. Now lets take a look at some general maintenance tips that will keep our system operating to its fullest potential. The two biggest enemies to a hydraulic system are dirt and water.
