I do have foot throttle and i am having problems with it but I wouldn't think it would matter.... Isn't the governor just working against the governor spring pressure? It shouldn't be trying to move the throttle pedal against the cork washer or the return spring correct? How much range of motion should the upright arm at back of gen. have when everything is working correctly? Mine seems to have no perceivable movement under load etc. The only time it moves is when I move the throttle.
Sorry guys, I am an auto technician but cars don't even have carbs anymore nevermind governors LOL
