You won"t be able to use it like it is currently because every time the plow hit encountered any resistance it would transfer the energy thru the top link to the yoke and draft spring and it would cause the plow to lift which is what it is supposed to do.Since you don"t have the spring the plow would constantly be trying to lift out of the ground because the spring isn"t there to add resistance to the top link forces. If you tried hooking it below the yoke or any other way the tractor will just try to flip over backwards. I wouldn"t try to use it until I got all the pieces installed back on it. Luckily those pieces are quite easy to get.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
