Thanks Jerry, I was not sure about this one and wanted to be sure. The fram filter is a pb50 that is recommmended for the spin on adapter kit. There is a plate with a couple of holes to allow oil in, so it must definnatly be a bypass filter and I think that's what I will use. There may not be enough pressure for an anti back flow filter based on what you have said and I dont want to take any chances. I wish there was a way to completely filter all the oil on a complete trip through the engine, but I guess that is not possible.
