Now the question is, to buy a new starter or send this one for rebuild. It has a tag on it from a rebuilder in Winnipeg. The tag has a number stamped on it so I wonder if they have a record of it. It would be interesting if they could tell me when they rebuilt it and who it was for. Actually the generator has a tag from the same company.
