Thanks John, I believe my tractor is a 1950 TO20 sn 19147 Already converted to 12v but I believe it is not totally correct. 2 large wires coming from the alternator going to the + side of the starter relay. Small brown wire going to the ACC terminal on the starter key switch. It has a resistor and 12v coil inline also. Regulator must be internal to the alternator as the original voltage regulator is not connected to anything. A proper wiring diagram would help. Thanks for the information provided last week. I was able to adjust the lift and it performs well now, although still leaks down. I also have oil running out of the steering arm ports on each side of the steering box. I will be looking into that problem soon if you could provide any advice there. Thanks, Zane

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
