The magnet is a good idea. The crud in this tank looks more like varnish. I took it to the carwash today and got a lot of it out. I used the degreaser and loosened it up pretty good. Waiting for the rain to stop to finish rinsing it out. The acid didn't do much to what ever is in there. I may have diluted it too much. I used 1 cup of acid to 10 gals. water. I spun a tank from my 8N on my tractor once and did a good job with b.b.s. It was a lot of work getting the tank to stay on the tire and get the b.b.s and rust dust out. DON TX
