I posted a listing looking for a tractor and just wanted to warn other buyers there are still scammers like this A.F. or whatever name they use that day who are working YT and other classifieds - both online and off. Warning signs include: no actual physical address, no regular phone # or only a cell #, no mention of where they are and that they will only deliver, no offer of any verifiable bank or previous tractor trading references, only taking payment by moneygram or some other method untraceable though if they have even have a good check from you there's much you can do. Bad english too or maybe they talk about a model you hadn't even talked about which is a sign of a mass mailing they didn't bother to change. Also most actual phone numbers and physical addresses you can do a reverse search online to make sure they are who they say but that is just one point. All these above signs are warnings. As a seller myself any seller who doesn't give out basic contact info. at the start is a warning sign, but after that the next best thing is to get several references of people who can verify this person and their contact info, AND then you have to verify the references too and make sure they are who they say they are. 99+% of the people on here at this site are great, salt of the earth people but just want to warn you about the gutless crooks out there too. Alot of the above is common sense and I've seen other good warning posts too on here for similar scams or other scams out there like buyers who pay with a overage using a bank check only to find out weeks later the cashiers check was no good and the overage you sent back is then gone. But since this scammer was the only response I had to my ad so far they are probably hitting on alot of others who may be new to the internet. Best of luck.
