Dang it anyhow...!!
I knew he wasn"t right but gave him a hundred bucks anyway.

I asked him for his DOT numbers and he couldn"t produce. That should"ve been enough right there. Any driver is gonna know his number off the top of his head. When he said he wasn"t near his truck what he really meant was he wasn"t near any truck to read any number off of. Concerned I asked him his address and he gave me one. I was on my computer and in a people search thing I signed up for a good while back. I entered the address he gave me and it wasn"t whatever name it was that he gave me. He said he didn"t know what to tell me he"d been living there all his life... And what did I do? I had already bought the stupid dollar general top up card thing and figured heck with it and gave him the numbers.

That rooster sucker needs a good old fashioned beating. And I guess I need a whack in the head for being dumb enough to give him the money despite what I had to go on. Duh...

Guess if there"s any concellation it was 100 not a few hundred... Sorry to you other guys that got ripped too.

How I found this thread was doing a reverse phone look up on the number on two different sites and they both said it was invalid. So I googled it and this thread came up.

I"m going to try hopping on the top up card website and see if they can tell where the card was used or something. I still have the thing and the receipt.

Today's Featured Article - Farmall 460: That's My Girl - by LeAnn R. Ralph. How many sounds can you think of that are as familiar to you as your own breathing? What about the hum of your refrigerator? Or the thump of your clothes dryer? Maybe the engine of your car? You hear those sounds every day, and you don't think much about them, do you. I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too. ... [Read Article]
