Just thought I would post my side of the story,

A few months ago Katie Craig bought an entie Late Styled B Transmission from me on ebay for $74.99 + $35 shipping. I had the entire transmission laid out in my shop on cardboard and photographed for the ebay photos. During the entire ebay listing the transmission wasnt touched or moved in my shop so that no little clips, bolts, springs or anything would roll off or go missing. The listing ended with a single bid of $74.99 (quite a deal but the price has nothing to do with this). Katie paid right away with paypal, and the next day I boxed out the entire assembly, which was still untouched or moved off of the cardboard it was laid out on. I picked it all up, put it in a wheelbarrow and moved it to box it all up for shipping the day after she paid for it. Not long after she had emailed me saying two gears were completely missing and one shaft had stripped threads on it. In my eyes it was impossible for two entire gears to be missing, since I never moved them other than boxing them. My personal thoughts were she wanted two free gears if she just complained a little. Right or wrong thats what I had thought. I didnt have a transmission out at the time to send her the gears right away. I told her once I had another one out, that I would send her the gears. It took me awhile to get another B into the shop to tear down as i already had 2 tractors in there waiting to be tore down. The Transmission that was complete that I had sold on ebay for $200 was a complete unit that I didnt want to separate as it was in all good shape and I didnt want to take 2 parts out of it and not have a matched unit. It sold for $200. I hadnt heard from Katie in awhile and just assumed she had forgot about it, until that transmission sold. She emailed me and said she was still waiting for the gears, I did get a B in the shop and started tearing into it. (Meanwhile she was posting all of these posts her on yesterdays tractors). I did tell her to email me the CASTING numbers so that I would know which two gears she was supposidle missing. And I did tell her she would have them within 72 hours once I heard back from here. What Katie didnt post here, is that it took her nearly 2 weeks to get back to me and when she did she gave me the PART numbers not the CASTING Numbers that I had asked for. I dont have a B parts book to look up the Part Numbers to cross referance them to a casting number. I figured if she couldnt give me what I asked for in order to get her gears to her, then she wasnt doing her part on her end. Finally after her last post on here, I took it upon myself to cross referance the numbers at the local deere dealer, go back home, found her the nicest 2 gears that I had with the numbers she requested and even sent her a new shaft that had perfect threads on it, even though she didnt ask for one. Her gears were shipped this past friday and ive posted the delivery confirmation numbers so that everyone on here can check to see that she will really receive them early next week, incase she claims again that she didnt get them. You can all think what you want of me, theres a select few on here that love to drag me under the bus, and have tons of comments, but when it comes down to it, Im one of the very few on here that isnt afraid to always put my actual name with my comments. And as always if anyone would like to contact me personally and actually talk to me about your experiances with me, please call me at 507-256-4693 (evenings) 507-437-6588 Days, or Cell at 507-219-0599 email at kruger_implement@yahoo.com or contact me through ebay do an advanced search and type in kruggiemonster. I will have you know that not once did Katie bother to even attempt to call me once when she did have all of my info. As far as my ebay feedback, I have 3 negatives out of 1350ish in the last year, The last negative I received was over a $10 and I wasnt even notified of there being a problem until they left the feedback. If any of you think that I am a terrible person because I wasnt able to please 3 out of over 1300 people, then so be it, A lot of you on here complain more about wal-mart, but im sure you still go there. Bottom line is, I cant please everyone, I have made mistakes, I probably will again, All I can say is that this was a transaction that didnt go well between me and Katie, I have made it as right as I can. Think of me what you will, If any of you can do better, go ahead, Us "parts guys" do work hard to try to please everyone but there will always be someone that is an unpleasable person. With that being said. Good Day.

Today's Featured Article - It Can't Be Done! - A Tractor Story - by Neil Campbell. I'll never forget the time back when I was a boy baling hay on our Farm in Big Rapid, Michigan. The most memorable event that took place was a trip up the steepest incline on the farm pulling an old New-Idea baler with a pony-motor for power and a haywagon. I had just talked my Dad into buying an old John Deere B with 6-speeds ahead and I was real proud of it, except it was a little smaller than the Case tractor that we normally ... [Read Article]
