Thanks Ed! I was just seeing if anyone had seen it help or if anyone had known the head bolts to loosen up over time. As for the severity of the leak, I knew it had been seeping externally for some time, but didn't worry about it. I just ran it with the radiator cap loose so it didn;t pressurize the system. Today, when I was moving snow, I foolishly tigthened the cap. After a little while, I had engine misfire, white smoke out the exhaust, and steam coming out from under the head on both sides of the block! It appears there's only about a quart or two of coolant in the oil. Am I going to end up buying bearings for it too? Thanks!
