After you remove the parts from the shaft it can be dug out of the housing, but not easy sometimes. dent puller or slide hammer works sometimes with metal screws into the metal case if the original seal. Try not to move the shaft or push in when installing parts back. Use something to spread the little lever that goes on the shaft when going back. If the above doesn't work. Rear of the pto needs removed. NAPA 7572 works, only 1/4 inch wide though. 71599C91 dealer. New number for me so don't know the width.
