In the IH set up the priority valve is in the block that bolts on the steering support post toward the front of the tractor and replaces the one already there. Also contains the pressure regulator and safety valve system. Also need the control valve that goes to the support post and a passage plug. Also fittings and a U shaped pipe. Yes they can be rebuilt. Aftermarket priority valves come in various shapes, sizes and pressure ratings and would need to be plumbed into the existing line from the pump to the reservoir. Then the pressure outlets plumbed to the steering unit and hydraulic pressure line. Return line from the steering unit would go to the drain opening on the reservoir. If its a priority valve with its own relief valve a extra line would need to go to the return.
