Why the big deal about stress on the engine. You will buy a 1086 and it has the same engine in it pushing out about 135HP so no big deal. Just run it. The tank might have come from a junkyard off from a custom model. The full tank will only give you about 40-50 gallon so not much difference. Just use it. It will be fine like it is.
